I had the good fortune of engaging Rita as an executive coach and found her to be not only a terrific sounding board for working through various issues, challenges and opportunities but she had a knack of providing relevant, situation specific tools and insight to assist me in my decision making process. I actually chose Rita because, of those I spoke with, she was the least like me, and this different perspective definitely helped unlock broader thinking on my part.

The biggest thing I took away that has really resonated with me and impacted the way I interact with people was learning about the difference between introverts, extroverts, and the existence of ambiverts.
After getting a chance to openly discuss perspectives, thoughts and differences between these three groups of people in the room, it instilled a much greater understanding of each other, how we interact with each other and how people interact in a group or meeting format.
It has empowered me as an extrovert to ensure that I allow enough opportunity for introverts to participate in discussions and even sometimes prompt and promote involvement by more introverted people when I perhaps see that those opportunities are not presented or provided for during discussions. This approach is to ensure a more thoughtful, fairer and even representation of opinions and input in group discussions.
This is something that instantly stuck with me, it was like a lightbulb moment, and I am sure it will continue to stick with me going forward.- Michael Rayner, Member Engagement and CSC Team Leader
